About the OrganizationBasic Healthcare Services (BHS) is a not-for-profit organization working to ensure that marginalized and vulnerable communities can lead healthy lives with dignity. Through a network of AMRIT Clinics—our primary healthcare centers—we provide high-quality and low-cost healthcare to rural and tribal communities in southern Rajasthan. Alongside service delivery, BHS is also a leading voice on primary healthcare in India and undertakes implementation research to strengthen public health systems. At BHS, young professionals are an integral part of our mission.
