Join the team as our VP of Finance and play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategies and operations. Reporting directly to the Promoter, you will lead core finance functions, drive strategic financial initiatives, and oversee corporate development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating high ownership.
- 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- CA qualification.
- Exposure to FMCG/FnB/Wellness sectors, handling brands with revenue ranging from 200 to 1000 Cr.
- Proven track record in driving profitability, BU integration, AOP construction, and implementing cost-optimizing initiatives.
- Proficiency in fundraising, securing at least $10 million in funding.
- Experience managing both online and offline sales channels within the FMCG sector/FnB/Wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Finance:
- KPI1: Owning financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and forecasts.
- KPI2: Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- KPI3: Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and treasury functions.
- KPI4: Essential exposure to Direct and Indirect taxes, including Income Tax, Tax withholding, and GST.
- KPI5: Preparing Financial Dashboards for CEO and Founder for comprehensive oversight of finance functions.
- KPI6: Reporting and reducing accounts receivable while enhancing cash flow management.
- KPI7: Crafting a roadmap for achieving a clean audit opinion from a Big 4 accounting firm.
- KPI6: Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Strategic Finance:
- KPI1: Ensuring consistent profitability enhancement by reducing operating expenses by 10% annually.
- KPI2: Achieving a 99% accuracy rate for monthly financial reporting, delivered within 5 business days of closing.
- KPI3: Implementing a new financial reporting system to streamline data collection and analysis, facilitating decision-making and trend identification.
- KPI4: Identifying and executing cost-saving initiatives with an annual impact of $1+ million.
Corporate Development:
- KPI1: Developing fundraising strategies to advise on critical decisions regarding Debt, Equity, and WC lines for optimal capitalization and dilution.
- KPI2: Preparing and presenting financial reports and updates for board meetings and investor discussions, managing regular reporting relationships with existing investors.
- KPI3: Leading due diligences, deal negotiation, and documentation in collaboration with external consultants.
