Senior Software Engineer Cloud Platform

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .Key Responsibilities Partner with application teams tostandardize service deployment configurations and processes . Accelerate application onboardingand deployment through automation and optimized workflows. Providetechnical guidance and hands-on supportfor teams using internal developer platforms. Troubleshoot platform integration issuesand collaborate across teams to drive quick resolutions. Maintain and enhancedocumentation, runbooks, and training materialsfor developer onboarding. Design, implement, and automatenetwork policiesensuring secure and compliant communication across microservices. Architect and deploycloud-native, scalable solutionsleveragingAWSand service mesh tools such asIstio ,Linkerd , orConsul . Develop and manageCI/CD pipelinesand infrastructure-as-code automation usingTerraform ,Helm , andKubernetes . Contribute tocloud-native application developmentusingPython ,Node.js , and related frameworks. Stay current withemerging technologiesand continuously improve platform capabilities and developer experience.Required Qualifications 7–10 yearsof experience working withcloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) . Strong expertise inCI/CD automationusing tools likeJenkins ,CloudBees , orSpinnaker . Proficiency inInfrastructure-as-CodeusingTerraform . Solid understanding ofcontainerizationand orchestration withDockerandKubernetes . Experience in managingnetworking and service mesh architectures(L4/L7, Istio, Consul, Linkerd). Proven background indeveloping, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications . Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for enabling developers. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science ,Information Technology , or a related field.Preferred Skills Hands-on experience withserverless deploymentsandenterprise application integration . Familiarity withDevRel practices , internal developer platforms, ordeveloper experienceengineering.
