Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Role: Full time

Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of hardware, software and general (indirect) purchases
• Understand the requirements and research and identify potential vendors
• Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing with suppliers
• Perform sourcing activities, liaising with new and existing suppliers
• Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of purchased items
• Review the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet specifications
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Prepare comprehensive reports on purchases, including cost analysis
• Stay informed about industry trends to make informed procurement decisions

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, computers or commerce
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Keen interest in technology and staying updated with industry trends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mobile, laptop, hardware, and software procurement (internships or projects can be considered)
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management
