Job Summary:


mktg.doctor is seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and building user-friendly, visually appealing websites that align with our clients' brands and marketing goals. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, user experience (UX), current web design trends, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand client needs and project objectives.
  • Design and develop modern, user-friendly websites using Webflow and WordPress with Elementor Plugins.
  • Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Figma.
  • Source and edit compelling visuals using Canva and Adobe Photoshop, ensuring proper sizing for various screen sizes and formats.
  • Implement design principles, including color theory, contrast, typography, icons, and layout, to create visually appealing and functional websites.
  • Write clean and maintainable HTML, CSS, and Javascript code to enhance website functionality and interactivity.
  • Optimize website performance for fast loading speed, minimize CLS shift, and ensure adherence to Core Web Vitals.
  • Build and deploy websites using the Hugo framework, ensuring ADA compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends and technologies.
  • Maintain a strong brand identity across all website designs.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience as a Web Designer.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles, UX, and modern web design trends.
  • Proficiency in Webflow, WordPress with Elementor Plugins, Figma, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of the Hugo framework is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, contrast, typography, icons, fonts, layout, and mobile-first design principles.
  • Ability to optimize websites for fast loading speed and adherence to Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience with ADA compliance guidelines for web accessibility.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality work.
