The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly within the Guidewire platform, and will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing Guidewire applications. The Guidewire Developer will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, test, and maintain Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.- Customize Guidewire applications by writing configuration and custom code in Java, Gosu, and XML.- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.- Perform code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Guidewire applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.- Stay updated with the latest Guidewire features and best practices, applying them where appropriate.- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including proficiency in TransactSQL and familiarity with database architecture- Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL- Designed & modified existing workflows (required for Billing Integration)- Experience in SCRUM Agile, prefer Certified Scrum Master (CSM)- Good written and oral communication- Excellent analytical skills.
