Job Description:

Technosport is seeking a Head of Packaging to oversee all aspects of packaging design, development, and procurement for our apparel products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging design, experience working with vendors and suppliers, and a proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop packaging concepts and designs that align with Technosport's brand identity and product requirements.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that packaging designs meet the needs of our products and customers.
• Source and vet packaging vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with packaging vendors and suppliers.
• Manage relationships with packaging vendors and suppliers, including regular communication, issue resolution, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials and trims.
• Monitor and manage packaging inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess inventory.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in packaging design and materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of packaging initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of experience in packaging design and development, preferably in the apparel industry.
• Strong design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience working with packaging vendors and suppliers, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices and materials is a plus.
