Job Description

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer on the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you will analyze, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack. You will work directly with clients to ensure their expectations and business decision-making needs are met. This role requires expertise in creating scalable and reliable data solutions through advanced analytics, problem-solving, and solution development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the development of high-quality data and analytics solutions using modern tools and frameworks.
  • Contribute to system architecture and technical design, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and business objectives, providing expert advice on data solutions and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are achieved and deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Ensure data solution quality through testing, optimization, and proactive issue detection.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance solution quality and development processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Technical Skills

  • 3–5 years of data engineering experience with Azure technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platform technologies, data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, and medallion architecture.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data profiling, anomaly detection, and data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball).
  • Solid background in relational database platforms.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile engineering methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in client interaction (requirements gathering, troubleshooting, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive approach to driving projects to completion with general direction.

Work Requirements

  • Preference for candidates overlapping with US ET and CT time zones.
  • 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift acceptable for candidates able to work independently.
