Brand operates in five key market segments: Upstream/Midstream, Downstream, Power Generation, Industrial and Infrastructure.Job Summary: The Senior Licensing and Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing software licensing, vendor contracts, and procurement processes across the organization. This role ensures compliance with licensing agreements, optimizes software spend, and supports strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of software licensing models, and experience in enterprise procurement practices.Key Responsibilities: Licensing Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses and entitlements. Ensure compliance with vendor licensing terms and conditions. Monitor usage and renewals to avoid over- or under-licensing. Conduct periodic audits and license reconciliations. Procurement Operations: Lead end-to-end procurement for software, hardware, and IT services. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies. Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs. Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and payment coordination. Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key software vendors and resellers. Track vendor performance and contract adherence. Support vendor risk assessments and compliance reviews. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Understand current processes and define or redefine processes to streamline Operations. Identify opportunities for cost savings and license optimization. Analyse spend data and provide insights to leadership. Support budgeting and forecasting for IT procurement. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain procurement and licensing documentation. Prepare reports for audits, compliance, and executive review.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred). 7 to 9 years of experience in IT procurement and software licensing. Strong understanding of licensing models (e.g., SaaS, perpetual, subscription). Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow). Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of contract law and vendor compliance requirements.Preferred Certifications: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) ITIL Foundation Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and work with cross-functional high-performance teams Exceptional verbal communication skills Excellent written communication skills
