Shift Timings : 2 PM to 11 PM / 5 PM to 2 AM, (3 PM to 1 AM - Once in a month for one week)

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • In-depth knowledge of AWS and OCI, understanding their services, security features, and best practices. Proficiency in using security tools specific to these platforms, such as AWS Security Hub, Guard Duty, IAM, AWS WAF, Advance Shield, Lambda or OCI Security Services such as Cloud Guard or various detector recipes. Strong problem-solving skills to handle security incidents and respond effectively in case of breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cloud security strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain secure cloud architectures. Ensure the integration of security controls and practices in cloud deployments.
  • Lead incident response efforts for cloud security incidents. Investigate security breaches, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and practices. Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.
  • Implement continuous monitoring of cloud environments for security threats and anomalies. Generate regular security reports and metrics for management.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into the cloud lifecycle. Provide security guidance and support for cloud projects
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g. CCSP) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in cloud security or a related field. Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud) is required.
  • Experience: with security tools such as Firewalls, Cloud Security Posture Management, WAF, DDOS and SIEM.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud security technologies and best practices. Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cloud security.
