We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and JavaScript to lead and mentor a team of frontend developers.The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building scalable, high-performance web applications while ensuring best practices in code quality, UI/UX, and performance.Key Responsibilities :- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of frontend developers in delivering high-quality web applications.- Own the design and development of scalable, reusable, and maintainable front-end components using React.js, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations.- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.- Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.- Manage project timelines, technical debt, and provide technical leadership in architecture discussions.- Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development, React ecosystem, and JavaScript frameworks.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).- 5-7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 1+ years in a lead/mentorship role.- Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux (or other state management tools).- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive web design principles.- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services.- Proficiency in frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.) and package managers (npm, yarn).- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.- Experience in performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), and SEO best practices.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development practices.- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and communication skills.Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :- Knowledge of Next.js or other SSR frameworks.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Familiarity with micro-frontends and modular architectures.- Exposure to design systems and UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS).- Contribution to open-source projects or personal portfolio of frontend projects.
