What are we looking for :

- The Liability Lines Specialist is a key member of the Sales team who has accountability for driving and enabling our business growth throughout the sales process.

- The ideal candidate is highly organized, has knowledge about liability insurance products and is a strong communicator who can quickly build rapport with customers and is driven to win in the marketplace.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Product knowledge :

- Directors and Officers Liability, Cyber Liability, Crime, E&O, CGL etc.

- Timely addressing marketing generated leads of warm clients.

- Assessing client needs/risks/portfolio & consulting with solutions to manage risks.

- Present BimaKavach to CXOs & senior executives in client meetings.

- Running gap analysis of the existing policies of clients, suggesting optimized terms.

- Building and managing forecast of sales pipeline on your own.

- Utilizing refined technical skills including client analysis / underwriting and insurance program diagnostic skills to continually improve client programs and create opportunity with prospective client

- Coordinating with other practices with collaboration approach for exploring portfolio level penetration in client relationship and opening doors for cross sales.

- Raising RFQ's to the insurer wherever necessary, following up to procure quotes and negotiating with insurance companies to obtain coverage that is in a client's best interests at the best premium.

- Working with the Insurer's Underwriting team, servicing relationship managers and operations team to place the insurance policies with the appropriate insurer timely with accurately as per SOPs.

- Ensuring that all client servicing needs are being fulfilled in collaboration with the Servicing team.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

- 3+ years experience in Liability underwriting or sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

- Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims, and regulations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Licentiate, AIII, FIII) are a plus.
