Avatown is the future platform for buying and selling 3D avatars, along with their clothing and accessories. Imagine virtual reality, where people can communicate with anyone in the world through their avatar (a 3D character), experiencing things beyond reality like gaming, club events, driving, sports, and virtual travel.

Avatown provides an easy-to-use platform that gives people around the globe the freedom to choose who they want to be through their avatars.


We are a fully remote team, primarily divided into the Growth Team and the Dev Team, with currently eight teammates on board. Our co-founders, Yuta and Sifat, bring their expertise in VR, AI, and business operations to the table. Priyank, the head of our engineering team, has a history of developing products with over a million users.


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Frontend/Fullstack Engineer to join our Dev Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, system strategy, development, testing, and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure that our applications are visually appealing and functional.



Responsibilities

  • Oversee development focused on the front end and full-stack development
  • Choose best practices, lead the team, and actively participate in development

Requirements

  • Proven engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to overlap working hours with time zones from India to US West Coast
  • A GitHub profile showcasing your previous work
  • Experience in product development is a plus
