Job Responsibilities :

- Experience in Oracle DB, production Oracle DBA (12c, 19c) in Oracle and in a Linux/UNIX/Windows environment.

- Excellent experience in managing physical standby database, snapshot and active data guard using DGMGRL utility or manual method to switchover/failover from primary to standby and vice versa.

- Excellent Experience in planning/implementation of backup & recovery strategies using RMAN and Data pump.

- Conduct performance tuning activities to identify and resolve database performance issues, optimizing the system performance and efficiency.

- Very good experience in analyzing AWR and ASH reports to identify the root causes of slowness.

- Strong Knowledge on DB upgrades from 12c to 19c and 19c to 23c.

- Good understanding of load balancing and High availability (RAC) etc.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.

- Provide timely response to system alerts and participate in the on-call schedule (if applicable)

- Experience in database installation and administration in a Linux environment.

- Expertise in using user profile administration, cloning, data guard (DR), patching.

- Experience in Oracle 11g, 12c and 18c Real Application Clusters (RAC).

- Experience in Oracle database upgradation from 12c to 19c, 19c to 23c

- Experience in Oracle AWR/ADDM report extraction and analyzing reports.

- Experience in OEM grid control installation and configuration.

- Perform installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching of Oracle Fusion Middleware software including Java, WebLogic 12c, WebLogic 14c, Forms/Reports, ORDS and Oracle HTTP Server.

- Perform installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching for Oracle Database software including ORDS and APEX.

- Performing Daily health checks for production environment, identifying the performance bottlenecks and working on to fix them.

- Perform Capacity planning for instances and growth.

- Knowledge of Oracle security basics, and experience in working with ISO and Auditing.

- Knowledge of clouds (OCI & Azure).

- Knowledge of SQL Server is a plus.

- 5-7 years Oracle Experience
