Oracle Fusion Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion Technical Implementation & Configuration:

- Lead and execute the technical implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion HR Core and Absence Management modules.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design efficient solutions within Oracle Fusion.

- Configure system settings, workflows, security roles, and other technical aspects of the Oracle Fusion modules.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the technical integrity and functionality of Oracle Fusion configurations and customizations.

- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Fusion HR Core and Absence Management modules.

Reporting and Analytics Development:

- Design, develop, and implement complex HR reports and dashboards using Oracle Fusion reporting

tools (e.g., OTBI, BIP).

- Develop custom SQL queries and data models to extract and analyze HR data for reporting purposes.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS reporting environment.

Data Management and Integration Development:

- Design, develop, and implement HDL (HCM Data Loader) templates for efficient bulk data uploads,

updates, and migrations within Oracle Fusion.

- Utilize and potentially develop data spreadsheet loaders and other tools for managing and manipulating HR data.

- Design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems using various integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)).

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide advanced technical support to HR and other stakeholders, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to HRIS applications.

- Analyze system logs and troubleshoot errors within the Oracle Fusion environment.

- Collaborate with Oracle support and other vendors to resolve technical issues.

Project Technical Leadership:

- Lead the technical aspects of HRIS implementation projects, from technical design and development to system testing and deployment.

- Contribute to project planning, technical risk assessment, and resource allocation.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet technical specifications.

Technical Documentation and Best Practices:

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Oracle Fusion configurations, customizations, integrations, and reporting processes.

- Implement and enforce technical best practices for HRIS development and maintenance.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

- Monitor the performance of HRIS applications and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

- Implement performance tuning techniques to ensure system efficiency and scalability.

Security and Compliance:

- Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls within the HRIS environment.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security policies.

Mandatory Skills :

- Deep technical expertise in Oracle Fusion HR Core and Absence Management modules.

- Extensive hands-on experience in developing and utilizing HDL (HCM Data Loader) templates for data management.

- Strong proficiency in using data spreadsheet loaders and other data manipulation tools.

- In-depth understanding of HRIS database structures, reporting tools, and integration capabilities.

- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on technical experience working specifically with Oracle Fusion (covering HR Core and Absence Management).

- Demonstrated experience in at least one end-to-end HRIS implementation project, with a focus on the technical aspects of design, development, and deployment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration platforms.

- Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages.

- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for system integrations.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation and customization.

- Understanding of security principles and best practices for HRIS systems.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
