About the role:

You will be working with the App Team to build Shopify and other ecommerce apps. We usually take up a lot of Shopify projects. But we also have experience in building Bigcommerce, WooCommerce and WordPress websites and apps. Our clients are mostly based out of India, USA, Canada and UAE.

Currently, we're working on a big Shopify project using Hydrogen and Sanity. This is interesting because we're making use of Hydrogen in a very unique way. We love to innovate and give you the freedom to explore ideas that solve complex problems. We also have paid subscription to Claude AI to help us move faster.

As a frontend developer on our team, you will be responsible for understanding the requirements from our clients, going through figma designs, planning the features, coming up with time estimates, writing code, deployment and post production support. The code you write will directly impact customers around the world.


What you will do:

1. Take ownership and responsibility of a project from gathering requirements to taking it live.

2. Develop resilient, scalable solutions with low latency.

3. Guide juniors by reviewing their code and showing them how to plan features.

4. Identify inefficiencies within the team and help move the team faster.


What you will need:

Mandatory Skills:

1. 4+ years of professional experience using React and Shopify.

2. Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem including Shopify Liquid, App Extensions, Storefront and Admin APIs.

3. Proficiency in designing and using APIs.

4. Know how to manage frontend deployments and debug in a production environment quickly.

5. Excellent communication skills. This is extremely important for the role as you'll also be talking to the clients directly.


Good to have Skills:

1. Good understanding of Typescript

2. Proficiency in Remix, Hydrogen and Sanity is a huge plus

2. A bit of backend development knowledge helps
