- To direct and control the process of site and to meet agreed site targets within planned levels of cost and quality in a safe working environment and to ensure administration of entire site to have smooth functioning.
- To oversee the operations & the functioning of the unit - Complying with the terms of service agreement & Promote the concept of bulk handling of grain.
- To liaise with FCI & District Administration - Ensuring no penalties regarding quality and quantity of grain.
- To ensure all required records must be updated and available for any time audit from Legal Authorities.
- To look after Terminals Financials - Keeping the expenditure within budget and all financial decisions must be taken or process as per DOA.
- To prevent qualitative and quantitative losses by deciding on the appropriate aeration strategy
- To maintain the image of the company as a safe and transparent entity.
- To ensure no penalties from FCI & Govt. rules & regulations.
- Complying with FCI terms and Statutory requirements
- To Ensure timely maintenance and Services of equipment and facility.
- Ensure all safety measures must be taken at site & Ensure Zero accidents report.
- Ensure quality of grain remains in perfect condition and quantitative losses remain within acceptable limits.
- To ensure regular plant maintenance as per SOPs.
- To develop and coach existing talent in order to drive capability building and enhance team engagement and camaraderie.
- To ensure 100% adherence to safety norms for all personnel and staff .
- Manage and train to all technical and non-technical staff.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers and carriers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
Requirements:
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in using logistics management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
