Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals to join our Miami-based accounting and taxation firm. This individual will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting for multiple U.S. clients, including maintaining year-round books, performing cleanup work, and preparing annual financial statements. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, a solid understanding of financial statement preparation, and the ability to finalize books accurately for tax purposes. This role requires strong attention to detail, timely execution, and clear communication with clients to ensure all books and records remain accurate, compliant, and ready for annual tax filings.Key Responsibilities- Maintain and manage accounting records for multiple U.S. clients. - Prepare annual financial statements and ensure timely completion. - Perform book cleanup, corrections, and catch-up accounting where required. - Finalize books and ensure all accounts are accurate and tax-ready. - Collaborate with the tax team and support annual tax filings by providing complete, error-free financials. - Communicate professionally with U.S. clients regarding queries, clarifications, and status updates. - Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and internal quality-control procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications- 4–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements. - Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP principles (knowledge of U.S. GAAP is a plus). - Hands-on experience with book cleanup and finalization. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar (preferred). - Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results on deadlines.Additional Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple clients/entities and meet strict deadlines.Education- CA intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce.Location & Work Hours- Must be based in India. - Fluency in English. - Available to work 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST.Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary based on experience (₹40,000–₹60,000 per month). - Opportunity to work closely with a U.S.-based accounting and taxation team. - Career growth in a dynamic, expanding firm.
