Position: Rails Developer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code using the Rails framework.
• Integration of data storage solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL) and understanding of design pattern
• Implement robust testing practices, including the use of RSpec, to ensure the quality of our applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in all development lifecycle phases, from initial requirements gathering to production deployment and support.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing your skills.
• In-depth understanding of Ruby language and Rails framework.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar databases and their declarative query languages.
• Familiarity with design patterns and their practical applications in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing automated tests using RSpec or similar tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
