Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role Business Awareness and understanding of the Financial Markets environment in which the Group operates Processes •Responsible for owning user stories and delivering on time •Responsible for driving through various development/testing phases and implement in production People & Talent •Working experience in banking industry and familiar with financial products is good •Good amount of knowledge in SQL is a must. •Strong communication skills including English speaking and writing •Customer-focused approach and attention to details. •A team player; multi-culturally aware with proven success working with cross-functional project teams in global service delivery model •Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values •Must have strong sense of responsibility/ownership •A good understanding of SDLC/AGILE and business process improvement. •Good knowledge of Java development techniques and environments •Software development lifecycle experience in a mature CI/CD environment is good •Experience in Service or Microservice architecture (REST and SOAP) •Good to know Frameworks (Spring, Spring boot, Camel, JMS, Solace, Kafka) •Good to know UI (Ember, ReactJs, HTML5, CSS) •Build automation tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle) •Application server (Jboss, Tomcat) Regulatory & Business Conduct •Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. •Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
