The Opportunity

As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will be a crucial partner to the sales leadership, helping to execute the go-to-market strategy and drive on-the-ground sales. Key Responsibilities

- Sales Execution: Actively support the Sales Manager in executing the sales and distribution strategy to achieve sales targets.

- Channel Support: Assist in identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in assigned territories.

- On-the-Ground Operations: Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility, manage stock levels, and build relationships with channel partners.

- Achieve Sales Targets: Take ownership of sales targets for your designated area, driving both primary and secondary sales.

- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor activity analysis to the Sales Manager.

- Order Management: Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment for all partners.

- Promotional Activities: Assist in the planning and execution of local marketing activities and trade promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

- Experience: A mandatory minimum of 2 years of hands-on sales experience in the FMCG Food & Beverage industry in India.

- Proven Drive: A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a previous role.

- Market Knowledge: Good understanding of local market dynamics and the distribution network in at least one major metro city.

- Go-Getter Attitude: You are energetic, proactive, and eager to learn. You are comfortable with field-intensive work and are driven by results.

- Excellent Communicator: You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Hindi (or a relevant regional language) is required.

- Team Player: You work well in a team environment and are dedicated to supporting the collective goals of the brand.
