SKALY is an emerging women’s ethnic–contemporary brand seeking a hands-on Fashion Designer to create our first collections from concept to finished product. You’ll lead every step—perfect for a creative self-starter who loves end-to-end ownership.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Concept – Create seasonal themes and garment designs aligned with SKALY’s aesthetic.
  • Sketch & Pattern – Prepare detailed sketches, technical drawings, and patterns for production; create tech packs and send them to manufacturers.
  • Fabric & Color – Source fabrics and trims; develop cohesive color palettes with a focus on sustainability.
  • Sampling & Fit – Oversee sample making, conduct fit sessions, and refine until production-ready.
  • Trend & Market Research – Track fashion trends and customer preferences to keep designs relevant.
  • Presentation & Launch Prep – Build lookbooks and design notes for manufacturers and marketing use.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design (or strong equivalent portfolio).
  • Proven experience in women’s ethnic wear design, pattern making, and garment construction.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
  • Strong eye for color, drape, fabrics, and contemporary ethnic styles.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the full design cycle in a start-up setting.
