  • The position holder will manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the investee companies of the family office. Creates variance analysis reports and financial models. Leads real-time financial performance monitoring. Escalates any financial issues to management.

  • Monitoring Business performance: closely work on monitoring and improving finance linked business KPIs for the investee companies

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, collection, working capital requirements, funds usage, tax issues etc

  • Analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

  • Prepare periodic reports by closely working with the investee companies to understand performance, issues, and trends covering the financial statements - including variance analysis.

  • Help define the key Financial and operational metrics and track the financial health of investee companies

  • Stakeholder management: Manage stakeholders across all BUs and functions, to align on Projections, expectations, and key deliverables, and work closely in the preparation of the Quarterly, Business Reports and Annual Operating Plans

  • Strategic planning: Lead strategic planning and budgeting processes.

  • Recommend to the investee firms, actions to improve performance and efficiency improvement measures

  • Lead and execute process improvement initiatives across the organization

  • The role involves actively participating in the implementation of FP&A tools and systems to improve financial processes and data accuracy. Responsibilities include migrating from spreadsheets to an integrated solution, defining & controlling masters, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of advanced technologies.

  • Information Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement information sharing improvements for unified source of information & reporting. Providing requirements for customization & optimization of budget monitoring systems.

  • Designing and implementing an effective cost-center reporting system for tracking performance on a periodic basis by effectively coordinating and communicating with the financial reporting/accounting department.

Requirements:

1. Chartered Accountancy is a mandatory requirement

2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in financial roles, with a deep understanding of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals.

3. Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel and other ERP skills.

4. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

5. Fluency in English and Tamil.
