The ideal candidate will architect, design, and implement scalable enterprise data solutions on Azure while collaborating with multi-disciplinary business & technical stakeholders.This role requires someone who is proactive, confident, and comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams to drive data transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities : - Architect & implement end-to-end data solutions in Azure environment- Work on enterprise data strategy, data modelling & conceptual modelling- Design & optimize ETL pipelines and workflows using Azure tools- Develop robust data ingestion, transformation & orchestration pipelines- Partner with business & cross-functional teams (O&G domain) to deliver high-impact data capabilities- Define and enforce data governance, quality & best practices- Enable scalable data engineering foundations for enterprise systems- Participate in solution reviews, troubleshooting & performance optimization- Ensure compatibility, security & scalability of data platformsMandatory Skills & Experience : - Oil & Gas Domain Experience MUST- 10+ years experience in Data Engineering & Architecture- Strong conceptual data modelling experience- Strong experience with Azure Cloud ServicesTechnical Skill Set : Azure Services : - Azure Data Factory (ADF)- Azure Databricks- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)- Azure Blob Storage- Azure Functions- Azure Entra IDProgramming Skills : - Scala Very Important - Python- SQL- C#- JavaData & Integration : - ETL / ELT- Pipeline development & architecture- Data Engineering best practices- Enterprise data solutionsOthers : - Strong stakeholder management- Cross-functional collaboration- Proactive and self-driven personalityNice-to-Have : - Experience in handling large enterprise data programs- Experience working in a highly collaborative hybrid team setup- Experience supporting business & technical decision-makingWhat Were Looking For : - Visible & proactive contributor- Strong communicator ability to engage multiple stakeholders- Not an individual contributor sitting in a silo- Excellent problem-solving & analytical mindset- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in O&GWork Setup : - Hybrid Model- 4 days at client location (Bangalore)- Contracting / FTE (ref:hirist.tech)
