What will you be doing?

The Consulting Systems Engineer/ (Sr. CSE) role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our customers within the local market and as needed for India / Global customers on a need basis.


Day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work among others.


The Sr. CSE will team with local Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers.


Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of the cutting-edge technologies.


This position will require the ability to travel up to 25-50%.

Responsibilities :

- Technical Pre-Sales and systems engineering supporting AI related infrastructure and solution campaigns and pursuit.

- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs and use cases aligned to WWT GTM.

- Aligned to one or more set of accounts as a CSE/Sr. CSE, will act as a SPOC to identify and map various technical stakeholders in the account, establish business relationships, keep the tech/solution heat maps and other documentation updated at all times.

- Serve as the technical liaison to all supported client as PCSE (for assigned accounts) and SCSE ( for assigned domains) and align your efforts and activities to identify pain points, and proactively create unsolicited solution proposals and/or respond to RFP / RFI as needed.

Create Level of Effort Documents, participate in proof of concepts (POC/POV), create and validate Solution Bill of Materials, assist in generating Statements of Work,

- Create HLD and relevant architecture as per the solution / BOQ requirements.

- Attend business appointments with Account teams as and when needed.

- Estimate labour hours for Professional Services work as and when needed.

- Works with clients and WWT Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities including but not limited to participating in Account Planning Sessions.

- Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals.

- Manages and aligns his activities in order to achieve a targeted gross profit number for identified opportunities.

- While not aligned as PCSE, support other accounts in the region/country/Global as may be asked in sharing and progressing the opportunity in your domain of expertise.

- Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and partners (internal as well as external) in country / region and/or territory.

- Utilize OEM process and tools to do deal registrations, create an optimized BOQ, perform BOM validations in line with solution requirement, able to work with OEM / partners to demonstrate and defend the proposed solutions (objection handling).

- Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.

- When not busy with AI specific opportunities, support and deliver for the DC Infra / Hybrid Cloud related opportunities as a CSE.

Qualification :

- Certifications in AI from large OEM's like NVDIA and other equivalent technologies

- Candidates must have strong background and experience in AI and HPC Infra sizing including compute, storage and networks in Hybrid environments

- 10+ years of HPC Environment and 4+ years of Pre-Sales (technical sales/sales engineering), experience (preferably with a System Integrator company.


- Min of 1 additional domain expertise along with AI / HPC Infra as mentioned below in Added Advantage section is needed

- Strong business, commercial and technical understanding of AI products and solution stack along with industry specific use case positioning is mandatory.


- While the position requires an in depth understanding of AI Infra components a thorough understanding of AI solution stack from infra traversing through other platform through middleware, training, inferencing and orchestration layers is needed

- Strong Data Science knowledge/background is mandatory

- Experience in using OEM BOM/BOQ configuration tool to create various solution/BOM/BOQ

- Strong understanding and experience in sizing, architecting and designing HLDs for large scale AI DC solutions covering all aspects of Infra ranging from Power, Cooling, Cabling, HPC, High performance Storage with key OEM GPU vendors like NVIDA, Intel and AMD and other OEM complimenting such GPU based solutions is mandatory

- Exposure in proactive identification of gap areas, proposing and designing HLD/Solution blueprints, generating optimal BOM using OEM portals along with commercial awareness and ability to defend your proposed proposals with conviction especially across AI Stack

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, content creation and content presentation skills, solution /product demonstration skills, objection handling skill in both one to one as well as one to many settings is mandatory

- Ability to learn by self and be prepared to appear OEM certifications and appear in exams as maybe needed by WWT

- Be prepared to align to WWT Culture and get upskilled as and when desired / required by WWT to retain the competitive edge in the market

Good to have skills :

- Additional domain knowledge and experience across Service Provider, Collaboration solutions, FSO, IT and NW Ops, DevOps, Dev Sec Ops, Automation, App-Dev, IOT Solutions, Solution Consulting will be an added advantage

- Hands-on experience in the field during the early stages either as support or services engineer will be an added advantage

- Experience in developing use cases, working with AI/ML engineers to derive or conceptualize AI solutions stack across the entire AI value chain (infra, middleware, app) is strongly desirable.
