About the Role

As a Billing Associate focused on AR Follow-up & Denial Management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring timely reimbursements from insurance companies. You’ll follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials, and work with our billing systems to keep revenue cycles efficient.

Fresh graduates or early-career professionals with strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply—we provide hands-on training to set you up for success.

What You’ll Do

• Perform AR follow-up with insurance companies to track claim status.
  

• Identify, analyze, and resolve denials and rejections.
  

• Work on claim corrections and resubmissions.
  

• Collaborate with the billing team to maintain low Days in AR (DAR).
  

• Document and update claim status in the billing system.
  

• Escalate unresolved issues to senior billing staff when necessary.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Basic understanding of medical billing, insurance, or healthcare terms
  

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  

• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets
  

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
  

• Eagerness to learn billing software (TheraNest, EZClaim, Waystar – preferred but not required)
  

Nice-to-Haves (Not Mandatory)

• Internship or coursework in healthcare administration, medical billing, or RCM.
  

• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
  

• Experience with claim status check portals or clearinghouses.
