Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure to support data analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL pipelines and data workflows.

- Maintain proper data documentation, lineage, and versioning.

- Implement and enforce data security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 15 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or backend development with data-heavy systems.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Glue) and data pipeline orchestration.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Familiarity with cloud data services such as AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR) or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow).

- Working knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and schema design.

- Basic understanding of data lake/data warehouse architecture.

- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) and version control (Git).

Good to Have :

- Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of data governance tools and frameworks.

- Exposure to machine learning pipelines or ML Ops concepts.
