Okta Engineer

Role : OKTA L3 Engineer.
Location : Bangalore.
Responsibilities :
Design and architect IAM solutions :
- Analyze customer requirements to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective Okta This may involve Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), User Lifecycle Management, and API access control.
Implementation and Integration :
- Lead the implementation of Okta solutions, integrating with various applications, directories, and cloud platforms.
Security best practices :
- Ensure adherence to security best practices in Okta configurations.
Automation and scripting :
- Automate tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Stay up-to-date :
- Continuously learn about new Okta features, security threats, and industry best practices.
Communication and collaboration :
- Work effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and sales teams.
Qualifications :
Experience :
- Several years of experience in IAM, ideally with Okta and other IAM solutions.
Technical skills :
- In-depth knowledge of Okta products and services (Workforce Identity Access Management (WIAM) and Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM)).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
- Experience with API integration protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
- Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA etc.
Soft skills :
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to details.
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Okta L3 Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust identity and access management (IAM) solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Okta's capabilities, along with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities :

Technical Skills :
In-depth knowledge of Okta products and services (WIAM, CIAM).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in API integration protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience with security standards and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA).
