Position: Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design projects from inception to completion.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project objectives.
  3. Create innovative and functional design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and color schemes.
  4. Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
  5. Oversee project execution, including coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized within budget and timeline constraints.
  6. Mentor junior design team members, providing guidance and support throughout project phases.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to incorporate innovative solutions into design projects.
  8. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards in all design deliverables.
  9. Foster positive client relationships and strive for client satisfaction by delivering high-quality design solutions that exceed expectations.
  10. Contribute to business development efforts through participation in client meetings, proposal development, and networking activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field;
  2. Proven experience (8 years) in interior design, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
  3. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  4. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including conceptual development, technical drawings, and visualizations.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
  6. Leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
  8. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation is a plus.
  9. Professional certification (NCIDQ) is preferred.
  10. A passion for design innovation and continuous learning in the field of interior design.
