MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG's global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia PacificJob Description: Senior Data ArchitectJob Summary:The Senior Data Architect will drive the development of scalable, reusable, and governed data solutions. They will collaborate with onshore teams and data platform/engineering teams to align with the enterprise data strategy. The role focuses on developing patterns, reference architectures, and solution blueprints while mentoring junior team members.Major Responsibilities:Design and develop data architecture patterns, reference architectures, and reusable frameworksCollaborate with onshore leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the enterprise data strategyDrive architectural initiatives for data platform modernization, data governance and data product enablementProvide thought leadership on advanced analytics, AI / ML and federated data governanceDevelop documentation of architecture solutions (ASDs) and ensure compliance with organizational standardsFoster a culture of continuous improvementRepresent the offshore team in strategic planning and review meetingsQualifications:15+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling and enterprise-level data solutions8+ years of Finance / Banking experienceProficiency in modern data architectures, such as data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud native / agnostic platformsExpertise in data services / tools native to AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Starburst or similar technologiesStrong knowledge of metadata management, data governance, and data quality frameworksFunctional Skills:Ability to design end-to-end data pipelines and integrationsStrong leadership and mentoring skillsDeep understanding of domain-driven data product designExcellent collaboration skills to work across onshore / offshore and technical / non technical teamsExcellent presentation and written communication skillsUnderstanding of banking products, financial statements, performance measurement, risk management, data controls and data governance
