The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, with specific experience in heavy lifting operations. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering a culture of safety across the site.Key Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with company and statutory requirements. - Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe lifting practices in heavy equipment operations. - Supervise and guide site teams on safety protocols during construction and manufacturing activities. - Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. - Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and contractors. - Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory safety standards. - Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety is integrated into all phases of the project. - Maintain safety documentation and records as per audit requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent. - 5–8 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. - Proven experience in managing safety for heavy lifting operations. - Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and incident investigation. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Attributes:- Certification in rigging/lifting safety will be an added advantage. - Familiarity with ISO standards and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001. - Experience working in renewable energy or manufacturing sectors.
