Geospatial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the business by providing spatial data management, visualization of spatial content and geospatial analysis. This includes maintaining underlying geospatial data libraries, managing online content and maintaining web-based applications provided through an enterprise portal.Data Management:- Manage, clean, and update geospatial data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. - Integrate diverse geospatial datasets from various sources, including satellite imagery, survey data, remote sensing, and more. - Manage database content, ensuring data is organised, secure, and readily accessible for analysis. - Develop workflows for automation of data management and define related procedures. - Manage compliance with data standards and metadata management protocols.Data Publishing and Delivery:- Prepare and publish geospatial content to enterprise portal. - Configure and manage access to online content. - Configure and update online geospatial applications.Geospatial Analysis & Reporting:- Carry out information gathering and digitization in support of spatial analysis activities. - Create reports, maps, and visual presentations of geospatial data to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.Work Experience:- Experience in geospatial data management, GIS, or a related field. - Experience in GIS, remote sensing, data analysis, and geospatial modeling. - Experience in geospatial data management and implementing associated standards and governance. - Experience in map visualisation for various applications. - Experience in online mapping environments. - Experience working with various Geospatial data formats. - Experience working with large geospatial datasets and cloud-based solutions is an advantage.Skills & Competencies:- Use of ArcGIS Pro, ArcSDE, Portal for ArcGIS, FME. - Knowledge of renewable energy project development processes and the role of geospatial data in project lifecycle management. - Knowledge of applying coordinate reference systems and transformations. - Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
