Field Sales Manager

FactoryMate is a startup aiming to solve souring and inventory management for MSME Industries across India.
Responsibilities
- Preparation:
- Familiarize yourself with the company's products/services, features, benefits, and value proposition.
- Research the industry and the specific needs and challenges of the potential client.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Contact the purchase manager or relevant decision-maker to schedule a meeting.
- Confirm the date, time, and location of the meeting.
- Provide a brief overview of the agenda and purpose of the meeting.
- Presentation of Services:
- Present information about the company's services, focusing on key features, services, benefits, and unique selling points.
- Use the physical flier to visually illustrate the services offered and highlight the value proposition.
- Tailor the presentation to address the specific needs and challenges of the potential client.
- Engagement and Discussion:
- Encourage interaction and engagement from the purchase manager by asking questions and addressing any concerns or objections they may have.
- Listen actively to their feedback and requirements, and offer relevant solutions and recommendations.
- Value Proposition Highlight:
- Emphasize the value proposition of the company's services, highlighting how they can address the pain points and add value to the client's business.
- Use case studies, testimonials, or success stories to illustrate the positive outcomes achieved by other clients.
- Closing and Next Steps:
- Summarize the key points discussed during the meeting and reiterate the benefits of partnering with the company.
- Agree on the next steps, whether it's providing additional information, scheduling a follow-up meeting, or proceeding with a proposal.
- Follow-up:
- Send a thank-you email to the purchase manager after the meeting.
- Follow up on any action items or commitments made during the meeting in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication to nurture the relationship and address any further inquiries or concerns.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive records of all communications, agreements, orders, and transactions with the client.
- Prepare brief reports and learning from each meetings to improve SKUs, services and value proposition and tweak sales pitch
Qualifications
- Good Spoken and written English, conversational skills
- Prior experience in offline sales
- Domain expertise of any kind in industrial sector is a plus
- MS Word and Excel skills are a plus
