We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with over 15 years of extensive project management experience to lead and oversee our Project Management Office initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive project management best practices, optimize processes, and enhance stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • PMO Leadership: Lead the Project Management Office to establish and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Project Oversight: Manage and oversee complex technical projects from initiation through execution to closure, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services that meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Comprehensive Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, risks, resources, and budgets for various projects.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and coordinate project resources, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and subject matter experts, to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor project performance metrics, key milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, mitigate, and manage project risks, issues, and changes through proactive contingency planning and effective communication.
  • Governance Framework: Implement a robust governance framework to monitor project performance, facilitate reporting, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the PMO.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile project reports and deliver executive presentations that summarize project status, outcomes, and insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to project managers and team members, promoting best practices in project management and fostering high-performing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in PMO leadership and management of complex technical projects.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams, drive change, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions and optimizing processes.
