Job Description:

Vardan Environet LLP is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist with extensive experience in mineral exploration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of geological exploration, resource estimation, and report preparation as per MEMC Rules. The candidate should be proficient in project coordination, planning, and executing mineral exploration programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate mineral exploration projects, including planning, executing, and managing field operations.
  • Supervise drilling operations, including borehole planning and management of field crews.
  • Perform geological mapping, resource estimation, and classification of mineral resources in compliance with MEMC Rules and other standard reporting codes.
  • Develop geological models, maps, and sections using software tools like Minex, Datamine, Surpac, and GIS applications.
  • Prepare Geological Reports as per MEMC Rules and Prospecting Regulations, ensuring the report meets all regulatory guidelines and amendments under the MMDR Act.
  • Present exploration proposals and reports to government bodies, including NMET or state authorities, for approval.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Geology, Applied Geology, or Earth Sciences from a recognized institution.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in exploration for mineral commodities.
