We are seeking an experienced Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development, customization, and functional implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong functional SME capabilities along with solid technical skills across Python, Odoo ORM, JavaScript, and the OWL framework.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into functional workflows in Odoo.Configure, customize, and implement Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, Projects, Manufacturing, Subscription, and Rental.Conduct gap analysis and propose scalable and efficient solutions.Prepare functional documents such as BRD, SRS, process flows, and test cases.Deliver user training, UAT assistance, and post-go-live support.Assist in data migration, master data setup, and financial configuration.Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely delivery of custom developments.Technical ResponsibilitiesDevelop and customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and Odoo ORM.Build new models, views, business logic, QWeb reports, and automated actions.Perform frontend customizations using JavaScript and the OWL framework.Customize website and portal views, including dynamic widgets and UI enhancements.Integrate Odoo with external systems using REST APIs, JSON, and Webhooks.Troubleshoot technical and functional issues across multiple Odoo versions.Work with PostgreSQL queries for data-related analysis and fixes.Collaborate on deployments, version control (Git), and testing cycles.Required Skills & Experience2–3 years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant.Strong understanding of Odoo architecture, ORM, models, workflows, and security (access rights/record rules).Proficiency in Python, XML, and Odoo backend customizations.Mandatory proficiency in JavaScript and OWL framework for frontend customizations.Ability to customize website/portal, OWL components, web controllers, and dynamic UI.Good functional expertise in at least 3–4 major Odoo modules.Experience with REST API integrations and third-party tool connections.Familiarity with Git, Linux, Odoo.sh, and deployment processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to map business requirements to technical specifications.Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.Nice to HaveExperience working in Agile/Scrum environment.Exposure to accounting principles or supply chain workflows.Odoo Enterprise (16/17/18) implementation experience.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
