Quality Engineering - Manual & Automation Combo Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Robosoft Technologies. This role requires expertise in both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manual Testing:

  • Good knowledge of testing processes (SDLC/STLC)
  • Experience with Audio/Player playback testing
  • Feature Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing
  • Ad-Hoc Testing, Security Testing, Monkey Testing, Interruption Testing
  • Create test cases, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating and reporting test results
  • Design and implement quality process and quality metrics for applications
  • Experience using Charles or Any proxy tool to check/modify API request and response
  • Basics ADB commands
  • Verify data analytics of application
  • Firebase crash analytics tool experience
  • Debugging & logs of application
  • API, CMS knowledge

 

Automation Testing:

  • Good understanding of test automation on Android mobile/TV Application
  • Automation experience on cloud devices/remote devices
  • Android Espresso/Selenium/Appium Framework and Java/Kotlin expertise
  • Shell scripting and code management tools knowledge
  • Performance and KPI frameworks understanding
  • Processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise
  • Timely development and maintenance of critical automation frameworks
  • Latest technologies design and maintain automation for existing and new products
  • CICD (Git/Jenkins) related to automation for remote execution expertise
  • Automation dashboards and reports to quality engineering development

 

Tools Experience Required:

  • Android Studio, Eclipse, Appuim, Charles, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, firebase crash analytic

 

Technical Knowledge:

  • Automation frameworks development and execution from scratch expertise
  • App technologies, Web Services, APIs Gateways for mobile apps knowledge
  • Software Development Lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) understanding
  • Agile or iterative SDLCs exposure
  • Process automation understanding and experience
  • Strong programming skills in Java and scripting languages
  • Operating systems, Android and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CDNs understanding
  • Excellent programming/coding and logical skills
