Responsibilities

Project Planning:

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and strategies for successful project delivery.

Budgeting and Estimation:

  • Oversee the estimation and budgeting process to provide accurate cost projections for the construction project.
  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work and associated costs.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Participate in contract negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
  • Ensure that contracts are comprehensive, legally sound, and aligned with project requirements.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of pre-construction professionals, including estimators, planners, and other specialists.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among team members and other project stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all pre-construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for the project.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all pre-construction activities, including budgets, estimates, contracts, and correspondence.
