EdgeVerve - Software Engineer - Struts/Spring Boot

We do this by amplifying the human potential, crafting connected customer journeys, and exploiting the power of value networks.Primary skills : Java, SpringbootPreferred Skills : SQL, Strut FrameworkKey Responsibilities : - Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.- Hands-on experience in Struts framework.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in software development.- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.Experience : - 6-10 years of professional experience in software development with deep understanding of Project life cycle activities in development and maintenance projects.- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.- Hands-on experience with Struts framework.- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).Additional Responsibilities : - Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals- Knowledge of Testing tools- Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes- Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements- Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills- Good understanding of the technology and domain- Awareness of latest technologies and trends- Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills (ref:hirist.tech)
