Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join our India-based back-office team supporting our USA operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Indian statutory requirements, and supporting all company activities related to financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, reconciliations, and payroll support

- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the USA entities

- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)

- Coordinate and support external audits (India and USA requirements)

- Develop, implement, and refine internal controls and accounting policies

- Supervise and mentor junior accounting team members in India

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Work closely with the USA-based team, ensuring clear and timely CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com preferred

- 5-8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel

- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with USA-based team members

- Experience in managing or helping set up accounting teams or processes

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience supporting USA-based businesses or international clients

- Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with USA time zones (as needed)

- Familiarity with real estate, construction, or multi-entity businesses
