We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tableau Dashboard development, proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, and expertise in Excel. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing Tableau dashboards, generating insightful data reports, and working closely with various teams to meet business requirements. Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and structure data for use in Tableau.
  • Establish and maintain connections to various data sources.
  • Create dimensions, measures, and calculations within Tableau.
  • Perform data modeling on Tableau Desktop.
  • Develop workbooks and Hyper Extracts in Tableau Desktop.
  • Publish workbooks and data sources to Tableau Server.
  • Refresh and monitor extract schedules.
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure data accuracy and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance or data-related issues in Tableau workbooks and data sources.
  • Request access for interactors and viewers.
  • Follow up with managers for necessary approvals.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to end-users (interactors/viewers).
  • Coordinate with the Tableau Admin Team for production deployments.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for Tableau issues reported by internal teams.
  • Monitor usage reports for workbooks and data sources to ensure optimal performance and utilization.



Requirements:


  • Hands-on experience in creating table calculations, functions, filters, calculated fields, parameters, reference lines, bins, sets, groups, and hierarchies in Tableau.
  • Expertise in developing interactive dashboards and data blending.
  • Skilled in performance tuning of Tableau dashboards.
  • Ability to present data using various chart types, KPIs, and tabular formats.
  • Expertise in writing complex calculated fields such as MTD, YTD, RLS, etc.
  • Proficient in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for relational databases.
  • Experience in connecting to multiple data sources, ensuring data integrity, and updating data as needed.
  • Familiarity with Python automation and ETL processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
