Description : Job Title : Data Engineer Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Location : Bangalore, IndiaExperience : 38 yearsEmployment Type : Full-time / On-site (Hybrid options available)About the Role : We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with cloud-native data tools, ETL processes, and data modeling to enable efficient data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows on GCP.- Develop scalable data architectures using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data availability.- Implement and maintain data quality, monitoring, and governance frameworks.- Optimize performance and cost of data workflows and queries.- Manage and maintain data ingestion from multiple structured and unstructured sources.- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in data management.Required Skills & Experience : - 38 years of experience as a Data Engineer.- Strong hands-on expertise in GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, etc.).- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL frameworks.- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).- Familiarity with Airflow, Kafka, or other orchestration tools is a plus.- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.Good to Have : - Experience with machine learning pipelines or data analytics tools.- Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).- Understanding of data security and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
