Project Lead

Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end project management for smart metering initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget. - Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operational performance of smart meters, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications. - Develop and implement cost optimization strategies to maximize project profitability while maintaining high service standards. - Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with DISCOMs to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with IT teams to oversee the integration of smart metering systems with existing digital platforms and analytics tools. - Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive communication and strategic planning. - Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment, ensuring project objectives meet the expectations of internal and external partners. - Monitor and report on project progress, utilizing advanced project management tools and methodologies. - Ensure the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance the scalability and efficiency of smart metering solutions. - Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications & Experience- Proven expertise in strategic project leadership within the smart metering or utilities domain. - Minimum 17+ years of experience in large-scale project execution, including smart meter installation and maintenance. - Demonstrated success in vendor and DISCOM management, cost optimization, and risk communication.Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. - Master’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred.
