Bhuta Shah & Co LLP : Hiring for Customs & International Trade Practice (Mumbai)

We are inviting applications for Associate, Assistant Manager, and Manager positions within our Customs and International Trade practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advising clients on customs laws, regulations, and international trade compliance

- Assisting in customs litigation, drafting legal submissions, and representation before authorities

- Handling matters relating to classification, valuation, exemptions, export incentives, and foreign trade policy

- Preparing opinions, research notes, and client updates on customs and trade matters

- Supporting clients with compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory strategy

- Liaising with government authorities, regulators, and other stakeholders

- Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives

Key Requirements:

- Prior experience in customs laws and allied regulations (experience in a law firm or an accounting firm preferred)

- Acumen or hands-on experience in customs litigation

- Strong drafting, research, analytical and interpersonal skills

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Lawyer

Experience: 2+ years
