Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute detailed internal audit plans and programs based on risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits of financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and processes, and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting and Recommendations:
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and management responses.
- Present audit results and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and resolution of issues.
Risk Management:
- Assess the organization's risk management processes and internal controls to ensure risks are adequately identified and mitigated.
- Assist in the identification of emerging risks and recommend improvements to risk management Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Review and assess the adequacy of compliance programs and controls, and recommend enhancements as necessary.
Special Projects and Consulting:
- Support special projects and investigations as needed, including fraud investigations or compliance reviews.
