Manager - Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and manage end-to-end recruitment processes to meet staffing needs across all levels.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure timely hiring of talent aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive succession planning for leadership roles, identifying and nurturing high-potential talent.
HR Planning & Development:
- Create and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct performance appraisals and manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to enhance productivity.
- Design and execute talent development programs for leadership and operational roles.
Employee Engagement & Welfare:
- Conduct employee engagement activities, including Rewards & Recognition programs, team-building exercises, and welfare initiatives.
- Ensure frontline staff engagement through regular branch visits, gathering first-hand insights, and addressing their HR challenges.
- Manage grievance resolution processes, including issues related to transfers, promotions, leaves, and reimbursements, ensuring adherence to HR policies.
Compliance & Legal Management:
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations in India, including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labor Welfare Fund, etc.
- Liaise with government officials, contractors, and labor departments to maintain good industrial relations.
HR Operations:
- Oversee payroll processing and maintain an up-to-date employee database.
- Drive the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
- Conduct exit interviews to derive actionable insights for retention strategies.
Policy Implementation & Discipline:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as per business requirements.
- Address and resolve disciplinary actions and proceedings, ensuring fairness and compliance.
Performance Management:
- Monitor and refine KRA/KPI frameworks to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure alignment between organizational objectives and employee goals.
Employee Benefits & Welfare:
- Design and manage employee benefits, including maternity leave, mandatory leave, and other welfare programs.
- Foster a positive work environment through consistent support systems for employee well-being.
Branch Operations & Engagement:
- Conduct regular branch visits to connect with frontline staff, ensuring HR challenges are addressed effectively.
- Provide guidance on HR matters related to branch operations, including transfers and succession planning.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in HR management roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is advantageous.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory regulations.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills; attention to detail.
Certifications: HR-related certifications are a plus.
