Description :We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer for our clients R&D team based in Thane, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning and deep learning models across diverse domains such as computer vision, NLP, and generative AI.You will be responsible for designing intelligent algorithms that power next-generation AR/VR devices, enabling real-time perception, understanding, and interaction. This position requires a strong foundation in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and hands-on expertise in taking AI solutions from concept to deployment.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and implement AI/ML models for real-world applications involving computer vision, natural language, and multimodal data.- Develop and optimize models for real-time, on-device AI in AR/VR hardware environments.- Apply edge optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, compression) to ensure performance under constrained systems.- Build and maintain data pipelines, training workflows, and evaluation frameworks.- Work closely with hardware, product, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of AI components.Core Skills Required :- Strong command over Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks.- Proven experience in computer vision (detection, segmentation, tracking) and transformer-based architectures.- Hands-on with MLOps tools and practices - containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD for ML pipelines.- Cloud experience on AWS or GCP, with exposure to model serving and monitoring.- Knowledge of edge AI optimization and deployment on embedded or resource-limited platforms.Good to Have :- Familiarity with scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, or spatial AI.- Experience processing sensor data (IMU, IoT, time-series) for predictive modeling or analytics.- Exposure to Large Language Models or Generative AI applications.- Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or research publications in ML/CV conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, etc.).Bonus Skills :- Understanding of multimodal AI (vision, speech, text fusion).- Experience in healthcare AI, AR/VR, or edge computing environments.Additional Information :Location : Thane, Maharashtra (onsite preferred)Joining timeline : Within 20 days (ref:hirist.tech)
