Principal Engineer- Front end/UI Development

We are looking for a bright and exceptional Principal Engineer to join our Front-end Technology team.


What You'll Do

  • Build awesome end user experience using a combination of UX design + Right UI frameworks.
  • Work with the product team to understand the end user needs and build intuitive UI flows.
  • Follow Agile development model to incrementally build out the applications with regular reviews with product and stakeholders
  • Develop and scale best technical design and practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders (Product Managers, Designers) to review usability, accessibility of the UI, to manage delivery, unblock teams, identify risks and remove the roadblocks
  • Lead and influence design conversations for scale, performance and wider adoption of library components
  • Mentor and upskill junior engineers through blogs, peer reviews, design conversations, technology stack choices etc.


What You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in IT industry
  • 12+ years of web development technologies including HTML5 Javascript, typescript, React, CSS, TDD
  • Good understanding of UX design, usability, accessibility, look and feel consistency
  • Good understanding of architectural principles, patterns, web performance
  • Experience in latest trends ES6/7 Node, package management, webpack, babel
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript and Functional JavaScript.
  • Having experience/understanding of Material UI design and mobx are preferred
  • Deep understanding in core web and browser concepts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
