Company Description Intrinsic Foundries is paving the way for a sustainable future by converting carbon emissions into high-value biochemicals using micro algae. We're looking for a passionate Process Engineer to optimize our microalgae cultivation and processing technologies. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Process Engineer based in Hazaribag at our pilot facility. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, controlling, and optimizing chemical and biochemical processes. Daily tasks include developing process designs, implementing process controls, analyzing performance data, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of production operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and solve complex engineering challenges is also crucial. Qualifications Process Design and Process Engineering skills Process Control and Analytical Skills Chemical Engineering background Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience in the biochemical or related industry is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field Key Responsibilities: • Develop and refine microalgae cultivation protocols • Conduct detailed process performance analyses • Support technology optimization across our photobioreactor systems • Collaborate on strain selection and productivity enhancement • Contribute to techno-economic assessments of our carbon capture platforms Requirements: • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering • 4+ years of industrial process engineering experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with biotechnology processes • Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities
