Western Overseas collaborates with global institute coordinators to ensure students achieve their academic goals, cementing their reputation as a leading education consultancy.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Account Head based in Ambala. The role involves overseeing financial operations, managing financial statements, and leading the account management team. Responsibilities include supervising team members, analyzing financial data, developing strategies, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and fostering strong client relationships. The Senior Account Head is expected to contribute to achieving organizational goals and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency.Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data Proven expertise in Finance and managing Financial Statements Extensive experience in Account Management with focus on client relationships and satisfaction Proficiency in Team Management, with leadership experience in a professional setting Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) Experience within the education consultancy sector is advantageousTaxation (Income Tax & GST) Ensure compliance withdirect and indirect tax lawsincluding TDS, Advance Tax, GST returns, and GST reconciliation. Review and file Income Tax returns (corporate & individual if applicable). Lead GST input/output reconciliation, audits, and compliance. Manage tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax liability. Coordinate with tax consultants for scrutiny cases, assessments, and appeals. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, etc.) Strong MS Excel and analytical skills
